A rich history...
Park Panthers Central Lynx Netball Club has a rich history built on hard work, friendship, a love of netball, and we’d like to share our story with you!
Our club originated in 1969 as Parklands Netball Club, and only comprised of senior players. In the 1980s, Parklands amalgamated with junior club Pascoe Vale Panthers Netball Club, and together formed the Park Panthers we now know and love!
Over our time competing at Parkville, we have won a number of premierships across both junior and senior divisions. Our most recent being in the Autumn 2021 season with 5 teams competing in finals!
Many of our players have also gone on to play in the Parkville representative team, as well as competing in representative netball in both State League and Australian League.
Current Australian Diamond Liz Watson began her netball career as a junior at Park Panthers!
A community club with a bright future...
Netball plays a significant role in engaging communities, creating social connections and offering individuals a sense of belongings. We are very proud of our connection to the local Broadmeadows and Hume Council areas.
Our goal at is to provide all players with a well-rounded experience. Whether interested in playing competitively, socially, new to the game, or would like to develop your basic skills and netball knowledge – we have a team to suit your needs! We are a family club with experienced coaches. Our team (committee, coaching, and support) is made up of all volunteers with valid Working with Children Checks.
We currently have seven teams playing Junior and Senior netball at the home of Netball in Victoria, the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Parkville.
We encourage players of all ages, genders and abilities to come and join our family-oriented club!
